Welcome to Casperland331

A site dedicated to our fallen friend, Daniel Isaac Kaplan, known to some on the web as Casper. Here you'll find out some things about his all too short life along with examples of his writing, artwork and filmmaking. There's a page about his memorial, held on Dec 5th of last year at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada, Ca as well as one for his beloved Germany. There's also a page that gives you a short history of the medical struggles that hampered the last four years of his life.

The view in the photograph is from a cross planted by Daniel's good buddy, Cpl. Harley Lavitt, on top of the foothills of La Canada. We want to thank him, along with Tori Montenegro, Haik Pagosian, Victor Corona and all his other friends for the kindness they've shown in this tough time. Special thanks go to Delaney O'Keefe and our Sparr Heights neighbors for their incredibly thoughtful efforts on behalf of Daniel's memory.

This site was put up by his parents, Will and Connie, so that his memory might linger with us for a little while longer. We intend to update it regularly. Sunday, March 31st would have been Daniel's 18th birthday. We invite all his friends on Facebook to use the link to leave a birthday message on his FB page.
